walks from the door…

Sugar Loaf Mountain

JJust a five-minute walk from the barn, turn right out of the drive and take the next left to reach The Fro Car Park, the starting point for the popular Sugar Loaf Mountain walk. Expect stunning scenery, grazing sheep, wild horses, and an incredible 360-degree view from the summit.

Countryside route to The Crown Pub

From the Sugar Loaf Mountain ridge, continue along the path until it splits. Take the left fork, which will lead you down directly to The Crown Pub — a perfect spot for a well-earned rest!

Bryn Arw Mountain

For those up for more of a challenge, a public footpath from the paddock leads to Bryn Arw Mountain. It’s a steep and adventurous climb, but you can go at your own pace — walk as far as you like and head back the same way. Even a short stroll offers lovely views and a peaceful escape into nature.

We recommend using a footpath app to help with navigation — especially useful on your way back from the pub!

For more walks a short drive away, please see the Walks section on the Things to Do page.
