Walks on your doorstepJust a five-minute walk from the barn, The Fro Car Park is the starting point for the popular Sugar Loaf mountain walk. Turn right out of the drive and take the next left to reach it. The route is suitable for most ability levels, with well-trodden paths and beautiful scenery along the way. You may spot grazing sheep and wild horses as you go. The final 10 minutes include a steeper climb to the summit, but the panoramic 360-degree views at the top make it well worth the effort.
For a more challenging option, a public footpath near the end of the shared drive leads to Bryn Arw mountain. The route is steeper and more rugged, ideal for those looking for a bit more of an adventure. Walk as far as you like and return along the same path—whether you reach the top or not, it’s a beautiful escape into nature.
